This is the perfect spring Bundt cake. It is a moist honey cake flavored with blood orange juice and zest. It features Local Hive™ Orange Blossom Honey which pairs so nicely with blood orange! It's topped with a petty pink blood orange honey glaze. The best part about this Bundt cake is that it is super easy to make! Follow the steps below to make a perfect Bundt.

Ingredients for this Blood Orange Honey Bundt Cake

- Blood oranges- the juice and zest will be used to flavor this cake
- Honey- Local Hive™ Orange Blossom Honey is used in the cake and glaze
- Granulated Sugar- used in conjunction with the honey to sweeten the cake
- Butter- make sure it is softened
- Buttermilk- makes the cake extra moist
- Eggs- make sure they're room temperature
- Vanilla- I recommend vanilla bean paste for the best flavor
- All purpose flour- gives the cake the best crumb
- Baking soda & powder- used to leaven the cake
- Powdered sugar- used to make the glaze
How to Make Blood Orange Honey Bundt Cake

For the Blood Orange Honey Cake

Cream 10 tablespoon of butter and 1 cup of sugar together. Add in 4 room temperature eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla and combine.
Then mix in ½ cup of Local Hive™ orange blossom honey, 1 cup of buttermilk, ¼ cup of blood orange juice and 3 tablespoon of blood orange zest.
In a separate bowl sift together 3 cups of all purpose flour, ¾ teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoon of baking powder and ½ teaspoon of baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and combine.
Grease a 10 cup Bundt cake pan and pour in batter. Bake the cake for 45-48 minutes.
For the Blood Orange Honey Glaze

Combine 2 cups of powdered sugar and 3 tablespoon of blood orange juice. Then mix in 2 tablespoon of Local Hive™ orange blossom honey. (If the icing is too thick add a little more blood orange juice).
Let the cake cool completely and top with the blood orange honey glaze. Serve and enjoy!

- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 10 tablespoon softened, unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
