Edible Cookie Dough for One

This easy, edible cookie dough recipe is a single serving, perfect for one, and the best part is that it's completely safe to eat!

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp (48 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp (12 g) granulated white sugar
  • 2 tbsp (28 g) light brown sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2-1 tbsp (7-15 ml) milk
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Sprinkle the flour on a small, parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake the flour for 5 minutes, then let it cool.

  • Add the butter, brown sugar and granulated white sugar to a small bowl. Cream together with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes. Then mix in the vanilla.
    2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter, softened, 1 tbsp (12 g) granulated white sugar, 2 tbsp (28 g) light brown sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Add in the flour and salt and combine. (You can also add a pinch of baking soda to help it taste even more like the real thing if you want!)
    6 tbsp (48 g) all-purpose flour, pinch salt
  • Add in the milk a little at a time just until the dough pulls together.
    1/2-1 tbsp (7-15 ml) milk
  • Add in the chocolate chips and combine with a small rubber spatula.
    2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • Then enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before eating for best taste!
