This strawberry rose cocktail is lightly sweetened with a homemade strawberry rose syrup that gives the drink a pretty pink hue and pairs perfectly with the floral notes in gin. It's a perfect cocktail for Valentine's Day or any other special occasion!

Why You'll Love this Strawberry Rose Cocktail

It's so easy to make! This is a craft cocktail but it's so simple. No need to go out when you can make a truly amazing drink right at home!

It's got the prettiest color. The homemade strawberry rose syrup gives this drink a pretty red/pink hue.

It's so delicious. Strawberry and rose is one of my favorite flavor combos, and it pairs so nicely with the floral notes in gin!

Ingredients for this Strawberry Rose Cocktail

  • Strawberries
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Rose Water
  • Gin
  • Lemon Juice
  • Champagne

Step by Step Instructions

STEP ONE: Make the strawberry rose syrup by adding the halved strawberries, water, sugar and rose water to a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Strain the strawberries from the liquid and let the syrup cool completely.

STEP TWO: Make the cocktail by adding the gin, strawberry rose syrup and lemon juice to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and pour into a coupe glass. Top with champagne and dried rose petals. Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!
