Best Lemon Tart Recipe
This recipe is for the best lemon tart. It has a Golden Oreo crust, and it’s filled with a creamy and tart lemon custard filling.

For the Golden Oreo Crust
- 15 Golden Oreos or about 4.5 oz. of graham crackers
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon sugar
For the Lemon Filling
- 2 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 egg yolks
- 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoon lemon extract
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
For the Golden Oreo Crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Remove the filling from 15 Golden Oreos. Add them to a food processor and pulse them until they are finely ground.
Add in ¼ cup of melted, unsalted butter and 2 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Pulse to combine.
Press the crumbs evenly on the bottom and up the sides of an 8 inch pan. It helps to use a ¼ cup measuring cup or a spoon to do this.
Bake the crust at 350 degrees for 8 minutes and then let cool completely while making the filling.
For the Lemon Filling
In a small bowl mix 2 oz. of softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is completely smooth.
Then mix in 2 egg yolks.
Next add in 7 oz. of sweetened condensed milk and combine.
Then add in ¼ cup of heavy cream and ¼ cup of lemon juice and mix until completely combined.
Lastly mix in 2 teaspoon of lemon extract and ½ teaspoon of lemon zest.
Pour the filling into the prepared tart crust. Bake the tart for 16-18 minutes at 350 degrees. The center will be slightly jiggly still.
Let the pie chill on the counter for 15 minutes and then in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
Top with fresh berries if you desire and serve!
