Gather your ingredients

To make your strawberry filling, cook your strawberries. on a low to medium heat for 20 minutes.

Mash the jam and transfer to a jam bowl and allow to cool.

For the pie crust, start by pulsing flour, salt and sugar together.

Add in cold butter until combined.

Next, add in water until the dough pulls away from the edges.

Divided into two disks and set in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.

Roll the dough out and cut into heart shapes. Spoon the strawberry jam filling on the hearts.

Bake the hearts for 18-23 minutes. And then allow them to cool for about 15 minutes.
