Butterbeer Cupcakes

First Step

Gather your ingredients

Simmer butterscotch beer over medium heat until it reduces to 1/2 a cup.

Whisk together dry ingredients 

In a large bowl cream together butter and sugars.

Add in eggs, vanilla and butter extract. 

Mix in butterbeer reduction and melted butterscotch chips.

Bake the cupcakes for 14-18 minutes.

While the cupcakes are cooling, start making the butterscotch buttercream frosting.
